I remember watching this show on ABC around 11 o’clock every Saturday morning. The show had a “Laugh-In” type of fast paced humor and some really good songs, one that was very popular-Chick A Boom! The show ran for years on Saturday mornings along with the Saturday Superstar Movie which one of the Goolie episodes was made into “Daffy Duck Meets the Groovie Goolies!” This set is the most definitive collection for any Goolie fan. There are Audio Commentaries on the first 2 episodes, an Audio excerpt about how Filmation started, a sing-a-long song, image galleries and the best of the extras a 45 minute Docu-comedy hosted by Wally Wingert and Daniel Roebuck with interviews from Forrest J Ackerman, Alice Cooper and Ron Chaney to name a few. A wonderful set that finally shows appreciation for this rarely seen show!
