IRONSIDE-SEASON 2 TV DVD REVIEW

A blurb from Shout Factory about “Ironside Season 2”- With superb story lines dealing with socially important topics like racism, drugs, abortion and terror on a college campus, Ironside’s second season continued the tradition of attracting special guest stars-including Milton Berle, Anne Baxter, Bill Bixby, Ricardo Montalban, Burgess Meredith, Ed Asner and many more.

All 26 episodes from the second season are on this set. This show continued to springboard actors and actresses that have gone on to bigger things such as Sorrell Booke, Paul Winfield, Chad Everett and Ed Asner to name a few. The film quality is still very impressive. Returning for a second season was Don Galloway, Barbara Anderson and Don Mitchell with Galloway and Mitchell along with Burr were the only three actors that were in every episode in its 8-year run.

VIDEO

The video quality is superb! It seems that the episodes are not digitally remastered; however the video quality is excellent. There is a Play All feature.
