BANACEK-SEASON 2 TV DVD REVIEW

One of the better NBC Mystery Movie Series is back for a second season 3 DVD set! Banacek! Played by the late George Peppard. This set comprises the last 8 episodes and with a special bonus the original 96 minute pilot! These episodes ran during the 1973-74 TV season. The show was about a Boston-based freelance investigator who solved crimes for insurance companies for usually a fee of 10% of the value of the insured’s property. As usual for the Mystery movies there were a huge amount of guest stars such as Cesar Romero, Gary Lockwood, Jim Davis, Eric Braeden, John Saxon to name a few. This 3-disc set has no other extras other than the Pilot movie.
