MCHALE'S NAVY SEASON 1-TV DVD REVIEW



McHale’s Navy actually started out as a Drama called “Seven Against The Sea” which was an episode in the Alcoa Presents anthology series which Ernest Borgnine playing the same part in the TV series, Lt Commander Quinton McHale. The series was changed into a comedy and was very popular in its 4-year run. Also starring is Tim Conway in one of his first TV roles playing Ensign Parker and the Commander of the PT boat base, Captain Binghamton played by the late Joe Flynn. The show ran 4 seasons and 138 half-hour episodes. This season set consists of the first 36 episodes and also for special features has a crew reunion with some of the original cast.

The video quality is superb! Digitally Remastered. There is a Play All feature. Excellent quality. Each episode runs approx 23 mins each.
